It is a shortened version of the M4 carbine, with a barrel length of 10.3 inches and a modified receiver, handguard, and gas system. The MOD1 variant features a free-floating quad rail handguard for mounting accessories, a low-profile gas block, and a flash hider. It is designed for close-quarters combat and is often used by special operations units in a variety of missions, including direct action, special reconnaissance, and counter-terrorism operations.

Due to the original mechanism, the function of last round bolt hold open will not be activating under several unknown circumstances. And sometimes the bolt will lock back with one or two round left. This will not consider as malfunction or damage. The mechanism will require breaking in for a period.
